Anyone else here thinks the way you enter/exit any vehicle in the game is both ugly and extremely unrealistic? I mean, see Jimmy pop in, see Jimmy pop out.
Now, this might pretty hard to change. (I remember it was completely undoable in BF42 because of the hard coding) But think how much better things would look if the player models were made to enter via a short (Simple) animation sequence. Depending on the vehicle in question. A tanker should be crawling up on the side and slide down the hatch, and a pilot would enter via the nonexistant ladder and in through the non-removable glass on the plane. This would also eliminate the instances were someone drives up to you, pop out, shoot you, and pop back in. And could greatly reduce tank stealing (Not to mention that it would be more realistic if pilots had to get IN before taking off, thereby buying enemy chopper pilots valuable time before they get shot down)
A question of entering

Defineetley a ting to do if possible
And about the animations not matching the model: just model the model so it works. Also, about aircraft, POE did this with its A 10, its possible to have an open cockpit, and the instant you start to move, it closes and never opens again. I'd bet that its possible to make a cockpit open and close to work with an animation.
