'[R-DEV wrote:Rhino;2108510']Personally I agree two jets would be better on this map due to it being open desert and easy to identify and hit targets, which are for a large part heavy assets.

1. Ye, part of the short taxiway system to avoid jets being able to take off from it, which happened on the long Qinling Taxiways.

2. Not 100% sure what Potato did on Kashan, but the general idea is you make the terrain between the taxiways etc bumpy so jets do not want to go on it or able take off though it. The problem with the Qinling taxiway was that if you fell off of it, you couldn't get back on where here, you can. And while I have trees in the same spot on OSR which is where Potato got the idea I agree, they don't really fit here since they would have had to have been specially planted hehe.

3. I agree reloading from inside hangers is bad, but you can actually reload from any of these red circles here, although the the ones on the right with rings around them should be used by the choppers :p

4. Ye but I wouldn't say the risk from coming in though inside the map has that great, other than from Air Defence Vehicles (ADVs) set up in the flight path which is seriously frowned upon and isn't allowed on most servers. The runways could be flipped the other way around I guess if people really have a problem of coming in over the map.

Also what are your regards to the Op. Soul Rebel Russian Airbase which uses the same runway?
2. Kinda get that, but in my opinion uneven/bumpy terrain or trees and undergrowth should be avoided on airfields (Silent eagle!!!). Just my opinion as a pilot since I've seen jets being flipped and flipped jets myself just because of that 1 bumpy spot in an airfield. In the end its a tiny thing but with 20 minute respawns, not a pleasant experience that could be easily avoided by map design aswell.

3. The designated reload area like on Black Gold and Khamisiyah, with it being open and easily accessible has worked well, I feel like Kashan could do with the same setup.

4. True indeed it is frowned upon/kickable, but it is only spotted once you do get shot down most times. This is why most older pilots use the out of the map approach to land. They don't even want to risk it.

I haven't gotten to fly on Op. Soul Rebel as Russians much yet. Mostly because when I did get a jet on it someone mined the runway/taxiways and we lost 2 jets to it

Ye, bit in the middle is open for reloading on OSR, not sure what Potato did with Kashan.

Just a quick suggestions to kashan as it is now, but also to most large maps. For some reason the trans helis on kashan are now delayed spawn, which makes no sense at all. Even before in previous versions you had armour shooting down helicopters on roll out(quick armour and slow helicopter roll outs, but still), now there is an even larger issue of bunkers being locked down almost instantly before they even spawn. Before there wasn't an issue with chopper rushed being OP, so I really don't see why this change was made, other than simply to make changes.

The second issue, more general to all maps but mostly pointed at kashan is how few APCs, and lighter vehicles there are on the map. I can understand and actually like the idea of limiting heavy assets like tanks or even ifvs, but they need to be replaced by other armed vehicles, not simply trucks. Making use of either jeeps or HMG armed APCs would give infantry the ability to move in something other than an open truck, and continue to fight with, just less effectively than an IFV. Yes, adding lets saying BTR-60s for MEC, and Strykers with .50s or MK. 19s could result in them just being used to go camp in the hills or be light tanks, but that already happens and with their lack of firepower they will die easier hopefully deterring people from doing it. But what it could also allow is infantry squads taking advantage of the 8 seats and being mech infantry squads, taking those vehicles into bunkers and fighting bunker to bunker, staying protected and alive, but able to use the vehicles speed and firepower if given the chance.
