Yeah I kind of thought that too. Can you even do "precise" shooting with that or is it just frag-rounds? (for killing infantry) I don't know how the aiming is done? The height difference and displacement wont matter really. Targets you want to hit with his are way bigger than those differences. You would think frags are better than HEAT. It is an APC after all, not a tank killer.that thing isn't very useful in a large scale war. Maybe in some situations where peek-a-boo tactics can be used against light infantry and maybe some v. light armour it would be more useful to have it than not, but when you're fighting a well-equipped enemy, it's really just a glorified technical.

It's a mystery. Some articles I checked just say that SPG-9 can fire either HEAT or frag rounds. I think it depends on the mission or what you can get on your hands. Personally I wouldn't challenge any type of armor with that, lol.
