I play fine on a 3GB except for Kashan CooP (needs a 64bit OS with 4GB), IMHO its more
the graphics card.... keep effects low turn of dynamic light and shadow - in fact start full low and build up and see and not too high resolution and he'll be fine. i3 330M won't
be a quad core or DX12 (
10)....
In game console can show fps by typing renderer.drawfps 1 so he can see what affects the fps. Shut down any programs he can, try to force PR on to one core alone. I played around putting PR on a laptop with the previous model GPU GMA4500MHD for lols and it was baaaaddd but I didn't try it on low resolution just default WXGA 1366X768. Its free try it out and let us know
The effects in high action areas and when looking towards the middle of the map will be the worst.
This is still relevant to PR but remember the effects and textures are better but heavier on PCs than BF2.
