This is particularly related to the conventional forces that have irons only maps.
To my thinking they should get their binoculars back, to balance you the fact that every enemy they face gets binoculars.
In general it would be nice to see all kits without scopes equipped with binoculars, or some sort of magnification device, to be able to check friend or foe at long ranges.

No.
You have the map.
And binoculars were removed for a reasons.

assetruler69: I've seen things you smurfs wouldn't believe. Apaches on the Kashan. I watched burned down tank hulls after the launch of the single TOW. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.
Time to give up and respawn.

The map isn't that helpful when you have areas where friendlies are close to enemies. Plus there is always the one guy on your team that runs at you from where the enemy was just shooting.[R-CON]rPoXoTauJIo wrote:No.

Even better would be orange triangles above enemy heads or a perk with fking X-RAY vision, so you can see if the guy behind corner is enemy or not.

Prior to 1.0 all kits had binoculars, BLUFOR was also a lot more powerful because they still had a lot of assets and cashe markers were a good bit more useful.
After playing Grozny and Bamyan the insurgents seem to be far better off than BLUFOR. It doesn't help mortars and area attacks have been removed from a lot of maps.
At least the area attack can kill people in buildings now, prior to this patch it really was useless. RIP never forget the JDAM.
