Actually we have been keeping an eye on m111 for some time, but this latest work definitely warranted him becoming an R-CON ;)

Having the eye cup removed on the 1P29 would be unrealistic, so far I have found 0 photo's of that scope being used without the rubber eye piece.

Though I really dont want to lose the M249. :D
I think for at least now it would be best to have the m249 as one kit and IAR as alt.

But then we would get 2 scoped ones, which is meh. Maybe the IAR scoped as default but M249 box mag ironsights as alt.

I dont know, I like the sustained fire and the look of the m249. This marksman rifle with an extended mag deal is pretty meh.

Yeah, but we will just have to see how the devs implement it first. Hopefully they dont do it the same as the B.A.R.

Did you make all these weapons and animations from scratch?

some things such as Colt scope etc. are made from scratch but most is reworked and some substantially remodeled. also a few animations was slightly modified to adapt to new weapons

What modeling program did you use and was it hard to learn? I have some free time coming up and I want to learn a new skill.

i made the first models in the late '90s. it was a very primitive models because i did not have any tutors for modeling. i did those models almost intuitively and it was hard for me. i stopped modeling for years to come because there was no way to develop my skills without tutors. i think you should start learn modeling with the latest version but you can start with 3ds max 9 if you going to modeling only for bf2. for editing and export into bf2 you should use only 3ds max 9. i use 3ds max 9 and 2009. the new versions is better but i have difficulty in adapting to them.

Looks awesome dude, I've always wanted to see the IAR in game finally!

The Surefire 60 round magazine is not being issued in the Marines right now, they are still looking for a replacement, if they will find any. Maybe for now have 30 round magazines but you get 12 of them.

Also the SU-258/PVQ Squad Day Optic has the same sights as the M249 in game, not the M4/M16

Right now they are experimenting with using the M27 as a standard issue service rifle (mounted with suppressors)

So who knows that role in game it will have on the future? I've also seen M27 IARs mounted with Marksman scopes as a replacement for the Mk12, but I couldn't find a photo.
