can i understand why guided hat missles lose control after some distance .
its like play COD again ,]
only yestarday i was in khamisiya and there was bradly on hill so i tryed to kill him with my 1337 hat kit . and like just vefore the impact the missle just run away .
even in vanila bf this sh1t not happening , why now

The ERYX has a max range of 600m (IRL), other than that it's a great HAT kit.

"Wire Guided Missiles" actually have a wire trailing out behind the missile, and that wire has a max length, in the case of the ERYX, its 600m long. After that distance, the cable breaks off the missile and is no longer controllable.

Think how heavy just 600m of wire is.
These missiles are not capable of just "going in a straight line", The older ones probably don't even contain any kind of computer onboard or gyros.

The Eryx missile uses a SACLOS guidance system, the launcher tracks a light source on the rear of the missile and compares its position with the center of the launcher's cross-hair, sending corrective signals down a trailing control wire.

IRL ATGMs(especially older ones) are not pinpoint accurate either.
