I hope everyone had fun yesterday.
There was a misunderstanding about the "1st flag rush" rule. This rule has been more clarified now (it has not been changed!):

Thanks for the games yesterday.2.4. Do not attack the enemy's first cappable flag unless it has been capped or there is an attack marker on it or you can spawn there or have paradrop spawns or there are only 2 neutral flags in the beginning.

It was good fun. Marlin was a roflstomp, not going to lie, but Saareema took a lot of effort to win. Had you been able to secure Lighthouse it would've been our loss.
VTRaptor: but i only stopped for less than 10 secs and that fucking awesome dude put 2 of them

VABs killed us. Everyone spawned on the forward spawn points, tried to cross the river, died and respawned in main baseFrontliner wrote:It was good fun. And in the same time the cow went down. But yeah, Saaremaa was really fun. No one was giving the enemy team anything.

Dont question the wikipedia! Just because it reports different things on different languages does not make it unreliable source!

Re: * AREA 94 * EU *
Admins breaking their own rules, locking inf squads with less than six players. When asked about this, an admin said they only enforce the rule when they need squad slots, or leave it be when the squad is "being useful", but why not then rewrite the rule?
Having admins violate their own rules reflects quite badly on a server, and the admins in question were never slow to call out other servers for doing so.
Today I got lit up by two admins driving a .50 techy. They didn't kill me, but they had my logi black smoke. When you shoot a friendly to shit, it's good manners to say sorry.

Shooting you wasn't intentional, I even apologized in chat. Hunter called out an enemy truck and you were far away so I lit you up but the idiot mistook a truck for a landrover. I stopped firing as soon as I realized my mistake.
I was also going to apologize with my mic but you drove off so I typed it in chat.
I'm sorry you had a bad experience, we'll make sure it won't happen again.
Also, who locked the squad and why weren't they reported? Please give us their names.

You could've personally come to me with this Liam, if I intentionally wronged you then I'll gladly resign if you want that but it wasn't intentional on my part nor do I make it my aim to grief players that join our server.[2017_07_17_19_19_21 GLOBAL] Liam: !r hunter intentionally shooting 50cal at friendly logi

I don't want you to resign, but I wasn't exactly impressed is what I'm saying.
If you apologised in chat I didn't see it.
Locked squad was fecht_niko. It was brought to CAS's attention implicitly in team chat. I made the comment after a squad got resigned for being locked below six players on I believe the enemy team, since it seemed funny to me.

[2017_07_17_19_13_19 TEAM 1] Liam: ave you looked at our squad screen?
[2017_07_17_19_13_36 TEAM 1] CAS_ual_TY: we let go when the squad is doing teamwork or is being useful
[2017_07_17_19_13_44 TEAM 1] CAS_ual_TY: unless we need the space
I thought you were talking about your own squad... Since your were locked at 3 people.
Anyways, as I said, unless needed, we let clans and friends stay on their own. There were like 2 full free kit squads, and one inf squad with 5 players in it (and the free kit squad resigned with 4 players). The resigning free'd 1 slot for another SL to open a squad if he wants to, and the players resigned got forced to join another squad, which lead to them joining an actual inf squad.
The main situation when enforcing of this rule is needed, is when you have a maximum amount of asset squads. Then you sometimes dont have enough room for infy if squads lock below 6.
And forcing clans to unlock in a situation when its not needed is bad, since clans usually dont integrate pubs into their squad gameplay unless they know them. So the player would end up free kitting anyways. However, he would be taking away a kit of an actual valuable inf squad, consisting of clans, which would then hurt this inf squad.
I hope what I wrote made sense. We could change the rules, but I think its better this way to let players know that in general we do not allow locking below 6, unless following the rule would actually hurt your own team in a (slightest) way.

Re: * AREA 94 * EU *
It makes sense, I generally dislike squads being forced open, and I agree with your point completely. It seems a bit odd to have a rule written so clearly and unambiguously but enforce it very loosely though, is my point.
And yes, Mats had a locked squad too, but he's Mats.
