Radio Volume v Sound effects volume
I would love to have the radio volume lowered while leaving the sound effects and environmental sound effects left alone. I often turn up the game volume to hear the combat but the radio chatter (to me) seems to be way too loud.
I could modify/do the work on these radio wav files by lowering the volume on each of them and then send them over to the team for examination if you want me too.

TBH it does my head in & I wish there was a separate volume control for comms chatter.

I modified the canned radio messages awhile back and turned then down quite a bit. It sounded great to me. I could then turn up the volume to hear all of the game effects much better which helped my situational awareness etc and I could hear all the radio chatter too..it just wasnt overpowering.

It would be nice if we had the possibility of turning the radio temporarily off in-game. It's really annoying when you're trying to ambush or sneak up on someone, listening their footsteps behind a corner or something and then someone starts shouting ENEMY FORCES OVER ENEMY FORCES OVER ENEMY FORCES OVER OKAY NO WAY MAN NO WAY MAN. I doubt it can be done though, if it isn't even possible to change the volume of the spam radio.

In the meantime, people need to stop spotting. The ONLY time you need to spot is when you see something that no one else sees. For example, an enemy sneaking in a back way, so you need to alert the team.
When you have Base 1, and your team is spawning there, and they have Base 2, and they are spawning there, you don't have to constantly spot that there are enemies coming from Base 2. OBVIOUSLY there are enemies coming from Base 2, the spotting doesn't help at all.
Don't spot stuff if a bunch of people already know it's there.

True...but this will never happen so there will have to be some fix made IMHO.'[PIT wrote:BludShoT']In the meantime, people need to stop spotting. Is it possible for me to do this with my sound files or would I get kicked all the time by punkbuster for having modified files?JohnDoeGamer wrote:I modified the canned radio messages awhile back and turned then down quite a bit.
