Initial map information
Aulnay de Saintonge closely represents the town in France (Aulnay de Saintonge) of which is close to where I have lived for the past 5 years. It has history both in world war 1 & 2.
The town (commune) today, still boasts it's buildings that survived the wars and also landmarks dating back to roman times.
Because it is a perfect representation of new and old buildings, I hope that eventually this map can be utilised as a 'content crossover' between the existing PR and forthcoming PR:WW2 statics, making good use of both at the same time without comprimising continuity.
Factions, and why?
French Gendarmerie (New Sub-Faction) Vs Great Britain.
FrG Vs GB
Why FrG Vs GB? Well, set in the near future the British have taken the war back to Europe to fight for their rights after 'Brexit shmexit' and these two factions will offer excellent and competitive gameplay regardless of the synopsis.
FrG (French Gendarmerie) is a 'Sub Faction' based off the current FR Faction. The Frech Gendarmerie are highly trained Military police, boasting both Military might and in the style of the Police force.
Exclusive Features
Dynamic Weather Effects (Rain - Sun - Fog dependant on map during gameplay)
New Mini Sub Faction of the French forces (FrG Gendarmerie)
Triggerable Destruction (Similar to small scale 'Levolution events')
(I have managed to do most of this using standard requirements of the triggers / ambients with extra inits for python)

That's all for today folks. I will post and replace these screenshots in the coming months as more progress is made.
I hope to have the map playable for a test over Christmas, might even convert it to snow just for a winter pack (if there is one planned).
