I fly jets a lot and get high KD so thats not the issue... Havent noticed you getting high KD in CAS though.

Everytime someone says 'just stay away from AA', they immediately out themselves of not having any idea how CAS works in this game.
Yet they think they need to lecture CAS players. Maybe they ought to actually try CAS and make sure to record it and show us how it went.

Wow like aa cant lock over 1000 meters. o wait It can. Stop making bullshit lies. Yes we try to avoid aa, or bomb aa but what are we spose to do when there is no mark of aa or any intel and theres a laze on a tank about to kill a full squad? not go for it? You can see in many videos of aa that it is broken. Now in dogfights its whoever sees who first because the only thing you need to do is wait till lock and right click. This absurd whining about gameplay elements we have little control over is beyond tiring, nobody on the team owes you to make your favourite plaything the most bestest around. And while I don't play CAS, I too see the problems that have arised with the new missile code, I'm not oblivious to it at all. WHICH IS WHY I personally do my best to ensure my CASers only go for targets that are clear to engage, whereas for you dying to a thing entirely designed to kill you appears to be completely unfathomable, it's broken, it needs to be fixed. What needs fixing first of all is your aggressiveness. If you engage a target you have limited information about, that's called "taking a risk". And if you die, that means you suffered for your risky behaviour. In turn nobody else is to blame but yourselves.
Similarly, you all KNOW that A2A combat is 50:50 nowadays, yet you still complain when you receive the short end of the stick. When you flip a coin, you have the same odds, so what exactly are you complaining about? Your opponent is as much of a disadvantage as you are, not counting jet type advantages.
Yeah, I know it sucks to wait 20 minutes to be productive only for it to be over in 2 minutes. But we also have other playstyles to consider. 1.2 was one of the worst experiences gameplay wise for almost every combat element due to CAS being almost completely immune to AA, and we simply will not go back to you guys pressing one button in order to be safe just so that you can continue to fly CAS missions against dedicated AA pieces, ruining the fun for about half of the server. That's not a solution.
We are attempting to find a mid-ground solution between 1.2's retardation and the current state of things but I'm not the one calling the shots on that one - and we all have different points of view on how best to address this, as per usual.

I just feel like CAS needs atleast a 50%50 chance of surviving if risk taking means death 90% of the time then just remove countermeasures on a whole and leave CAS irrelevant.
