Why is the in-game map semi-transparent? I thought transparencies are used to overlay on top while the maps themselves are not transparent.
Also, a compass rose is necessary just like the already present map scale.

That's what I remember.
How was the PR in-game map opacity determined? I'm also wondering if setting it to 100% improves performance. It would make the maps easier to read.
Currently:
[Enter] - KIT (Spawn) Menu: 100%? *no magnification available
[Caps Lock] - SQUAD Menu: less % than ^
[M] - Map (& Mini-Map): less % than ^
Can the 3 different map versions' opacity be set to the same level?
