Re: Debug assertion failed!

Post by x090 »

I discovered what is causing this error.
On my new hardware if setting VideoSettings.setAntialiasing from file "Video.con" is set to something except Off then I always get this Error message.

Well, what's the problem, to switch VideoSettings.setAntialiasing back to Off and enjoy the shitty-game without Antialiasing ?

And here comes out second problem (or BUg).
After "Debug assertion failed" error message, caused by VideoSettings.setAntialiasing <> Off , in the same folder where file Video.con is placed, the game creates new one with name "Video.con.bak".

This new Video.con.bak it's copy of old one Video.con, and it has old settings including VideoSettings.setAntialiasing set to 8Samples (or any thing else).

When you run PRLauncher it reads and save settings from Video.con, but when you run the game, it reads video settings from Video.con.bak, that has old settings.
