Re: Korbach Offensive feedback
The map has too many tickets, or the bleed is too slow! We took all but one flag and then the game just dragged on endlessly while we had basically won already.

Re: Korbach Offensive feedback
The German main is too vulnerable to steamrolling Russians locking down any exit.
If the initial German push into the town does not succeed for any number of reasons, the map quickly turns into Russian superfob and armour in Juliet 13 kp 1 destroying everything that tries to leave German main. The terrain directly outside the German staging area is all exposed open fields and there is no significant cover for vehicles. In contrast, the Russians have plenty of trees, wooded areas, bushes and dips in the ground right outside German DoD which they can sit armour in or position ATGM emplacements/HAT kits.
I think this map is suitable for WW2 but completely unbalanced for modern. The first Town flag and the surrounding terrain are particularly fun for WW2 combat but awful for modern. It's a nice idea to make a WW2 map work as a modern map, but I think it's not working at all.

I saw the tracker of the round you are talking about, I also saw a tracker where germans steamrolled russians.Boulder wrote:The German main is too vulnerable to steamrolling Russians locking down any exit.

I do agree though that it is easier to block the main with modern factions than ww2, especially with 4 rallys in town.
These are the changes I made for next patch: AAS standard: Removed 2 of 4 town rallys, removed town bmp2 and increased russian tank delay to 10 minutes.
Also added bleed to last flags.

I think those are some really cool changes. If the Russian team is defending well it can be tough for Germans to break through and out of their exposed fields before the Russian armour arrives to shut them out completely. I think these changes will really help with giving Germans more of a chance in those crucial first few minutes.

Very good map and I love it.
Love the fast asset spawns together with realistic elements to the map.
Please make jungle maps for Dutch vs China with little to almost no buildings only vegetation and you my bro for life ason

It is sometimes easy to just point out problems, but I'll also say it is a very fun map and also very beautiful.

Since I saw no one complain about the south town performance yet: Did we actually fix it or is everyone just so used to it they stopped mentioning it?

Re: Korbach Offensive feedback
Right back to this, haven't played Korbach in a while so I don't know if the FPS drops are bad there as on Kassel since they use different assets but i believe korbach has less of a fps drop than kassel.
But from what I experienced the FPS drops occur more so on the northern outskirts of town, So from the Road entering the town on the west near the north forest, clockwise 180 degrees to the other side of town.
(turned most reshade effects off for maximum fps) went from a 50-60 to like 25-30 which is still playable for me atleast.
Here is my settings below

Nice map.
Question:
Where is the other end of the tunnel that ends in a rock pile in G2 kp7? I can't find it

It's part of an easter egg chain that starts in the white castle on H3. I'm not sure how much of the easter egg is accessable on korbach though, it was made for Kassel but some parts of it is left on Korbach.Sapper28 wrote:Nice map.

I understand that this is a Korbach thread, but i hope you continue this discussion:
There are a few fields with white flowers. I have searched around them and not found the next letter.
Care to narrow down my search??
