Have you changed any IPs lately? I know my VOIP was only working for some people until I made the IP of the BF2 the main IP on the server..:iGi:.U.G.H. wrote:Yeah i'm not sure what's up with it. It's not working on any of our servers it seems.![]()

Funny, I'm sure I've seen you on our server before and on more than one occasion.
The reason that armour is switched off on our server is to allow infantry tactics & battles to gain predominance over fleets of armour mashing ground-pounders into the earth. It also more skilful, IMHO, to be part of a 6 man squad & maintain tactical and strategic coherence with other squads, if properly coordinated by a good commander.

Fair enough. Plenty other servers for that kind of thing out there. We offer the infantry only side of PR.SGT.Collado wrote:I never play in that server for the lack of certain vehicles.
Most maps we play wouldn't have armour anyway.

as usmc we nearly took the last point before time ran out
and as mec we were able to hold the canyon until time ran out, sadly though because of no ticketbleed for the usmc side we lost it (still, superb game
)
a little screen to show off ^^ (both me and my squadies - red circled = squadmate)

I doubt it: there's other servers offering this 24/7 but very few doing the infantry/non-armoured vehicles thing apart from maybe the folks at Helix and ourselves.
Ask on the clan forum Dunkellic but I very much doubt you'll get an affirmative from the rest of the clan.
The only times armour/attack aircraft have been on-server is if someone has forgotten to remove them from the setup and they've not been on long before that's been rectified sharpish.
Essentially we're an infantry clan running an infantry biased server purely because we prefer the intensity of "mano a mano" combat without the armour/plane/heli brigade spoiling the fun.
No offence intended to all you armour/plane/heli whores out there

Yeah although armour won't be as annoying as it once was due to it needed a crew every other server runs with it so there's no point us doing it as well.

well, i dont know, but isn thors also a infantry only - but besides of that, i know at least one additional, of which i cant remember the name right now - but it´s definatly not only a "few" servers, especially considering that most, if not all of them are european - which leaves only a few vehicles servers, like the russian pr server, but i actually dont have the best experiences with that one.
i would just like to see how a game with armor and stuff enabled feels when you combine it with the teamwork i see most times i play on igi.
i aint asking for 24/7 vehicles, really just one day in a week.
also, as you´ve already pointed out, i think vehicles have changed very much by now - we got the heavy at-kit (with which you can shoot down littlebirds on muttrah probably as good as you can deal with tanks

No Thors has vehicles. It's only .:iGi:. and Hx that have no vehicles as far as I know so that's plenty with armour.
We'll see what happens when 0.5 comes out as the majority of maps we play/will play don't have any armour in them anyway or very little.
Feel free to come and start a poll or whatever on our clan forums if you want to ask the rest of us. Link in my sig.
