A funny Moment i had was when we were Filming for Maistros and i was in lead LB, i was doing good to i think untill... we reach the city and, my screeze freezes for 5 seconds second me looping into the ground
My Fav Moment in PR was when i was on Muttrah doing LB Hot LZ Drops (the ones where you dont stop its a touch and go) and i hear a RPG fly right over my head and think jeez that was close then take off to hear a second RPG fly under me and im think "WTF? im not a haxor that shoulda hit me" and fly off only to be shoot by a sniper

i scanned the the top of the dam with my binocs, the sun hurt my eyes as i caught a sharp glimpse of the sun through them.. The flag went grey, everyone started to stir in there defensive positions.. they would be here soon.
We were sent to capture the dam after the attacking squad secured the previous point. Our squad does not usually attack, we are charlie we usually protect CP's, we set up defensive points around the flag to act as a warning point for the poor fuckers sat in the middle of the dam.
I was sat in my LUP south of the dam in a pretty safe position, i was only exposed from the west but i was sure the fire would be directed to the north, Dr rank was beside me, in control, calm. Gordy was set up with his LMG closer to the flag but in an elevated position covering the complex stairs and ladders that overhung the rear of the dam, i knew we could count on his SAW when we needed it. The job of lugging around a MG all day was usually given to the nig (new guy) but gordy loved the thing and always volenteered to use it when it was needed. Wormeaton, a great character, was our anti tank man, he was armed with a SRAW a nasty piece of kit that made tanks into tinderboxes. Squidy, Dr ranks brother was positioned near duckhunt armed with M16s and attached M203 grenade launchers to give tango the perfect ramadan presents.
everyone seemed a little nervous, even Dr rank began to lose his cool, everything seemed quiet, nothing had been said for the previous five minutes or so, until i spotted what looked like two opfor moving across the very top of the dam, they spotted gordy and began firing on his position "CONTACT!!"
The shit hit the fan and the fan was not amused..
Bursts of fire elevated our position to the other opfor, i could spot troops heading towards the men on the flag, i put away my binocs and shouldered my M24... i took aim on one of the men firing towards gordy....
i took first pressure on the trigger...... BANG!.. shit i missed, something is wrong with my gun, its not zeroed to this range... i tried again but this time took more time on the target... BANG! i dropped the fucker, his body hit the deck like a bag of shit and his mate fell back towards cover.
all this time Dr rank was barking orders to us.. i didnt hear half of them and sat tight hoping i didnt miss anything crucial.. just then i heard a familiar noise that we always dreaded.
A T90 MBT roared towards the flag in an attempt to stop our capture, i was still firing at targets and Dr rank yelled at Wormeaten to get into a firing position. I saw wormeaton get into position and shoulder his SRAW, the T90 spotted him and raised its turret towards him...
Everyone stopped firing, even the opfor seemed amazed that their mighty T90 was left a simmering wreckage barely 30 yards away from us, i only just noticed how close this thing was to us and decided to change position but was diverted as i heard "MAN DOWN!" Wormeaton had taken half a HE shell to his right side and was left lying near the entrance of the dam, Dr rank ran to his aid and began prepping him for extraction.
The flag was captured, what was left of the opfor was blown away by squidy and duckhunt as they routed out the remaining MEC.
it wasnt over yet, a mec APC raced towards the dam. It was late for the party and seemed pissed of it wasnt invited, behind us a blackhawk hovered at the edge of the capture point and our squad ran towards it, i almost wanted to yell "Get to da choppah" but saved the comedy act until we were safe at the carrier, Wormeaton decided to spill it anway and confused us all with a heavily croation accented "You have been.. Tango'd".
our blackhawk raced to our next defensive position, this was the start of a very long day.

playing karkand, going prone behind a spec ops, with the us medic and shooting an mec guy between the spec ops legs,
everyone in the squad all throwing a frag at the same time into one of those sandbag bunker things on one of the chinese maps (one of the least played ones because ive only played it twice and never seen it again)

I have had so many favourites moments, that I can’t remember them all. Both playing as commander where I actually had disciplined teams and as squad leader with disciplined squad members and competent commanders.
But the moment I remember best still, is one that took place about five minutes into my very first round playing this awesome mod/game.
It was on the first map i ever played, Zhanjiang security area.
First spawn point was USMC base, and from there i lone wolfed as rifleman, up towards the bridge.
I used the grassy area between the road and the river, while I slowly moved up there.
The fighting wasn’t that fierce in that round, there were only some randomly fire from the other side of the river.
Now, on my way up to the bridge, i passed this burning tank, and in that moment, somehow the river, the burning tank (including the sound of flames) and well... just the whole environment brought back memories from Kosovo 1999.
In that moment i knew that i had found the game to play.
That is probably my favourite moment of them all.

Define irony. A bunch of guys playing PR year after year. A game teaching initiative as the prime mover.
However, in regard to EA, these guys never took the initiative.
