Yeah I do that all the time. Sometimes it's a pain in the *** when you are sniper or something, you just don't want to give up the sniper kit, but still I always take the medic kit and revive him. But yesterday I got a good feeling when I did this, and then when I died the same guy was next to me and he took the medic kit and revived me. (and of course gave the sniper back to me in the process) This is how everyone should play.

Well I think on thors it's so that you get punished 5 times during 1 round and the server kicks you, so it will keep away those who tk intentionally (good thing these people are very rare)

TB wants to have TK punish off too, but Esso said that it turns itsself on automatically after a server crash.
He is trying to fix this problem.

I consistently get between a 3:1 and 2:1 K/D with the M4.p I realize people see it as whoring, but I just really hate the three round burst of the M16. The G3 is much more powerful. What really irks me is the people who can't even maintain a decend K/D ratio while using the M4. They should be going medic or rifleman.

Also, for the record, I always enjoyed the M4, even in .32. I really like having an optical scope, and being able to SLAM (then C4) things.

As for medics not doing their jobs, I agree. But I wish people would just go medic themselves if they don't think medics are working hard enough. I hate it when people yell at me for not running out across a street filled with fire to revive their ***.

Regarding VOIP: sometimes there's nothing to say, but it gets better once there's some contact.

I really hate the people who don't say thank you or sorry also. And I *really* hate the people who TK me (in the back) on maps where the uniform difference is really obvious, like USMC vs. MEC.

see, this is what bugs me (no offense intended!) - that some people, and i am not refering to you, just take the m4 because they have no skill with the other weapons and because they are too bad to handle them, they whore the m4 (not talking about you)

Well, I'm decent with the M16, I just don't like it. A full burst into the chest of a MEC with armor doesn't take him down, which just seems unrealistic to me. I end up having to fire 3 fairly accurate (maybe half or two thirds hitting) bursts into him to die. Whereas he can G3 me much more effectively.

I agree, teamwork is very important, using teamwork, you can improve all the K/D ratios in the squad, it is an important element.

Albasrah for instance. The insurgents have much less than the GB and if the GB screw the obj of saving the pilot, they win.

Honestly, I want to be open. I like to be spec-ops sometimes because I want to be lonewolf. But check this out: Spec Ops are lonewolfs in general. They support their squad by getting kills that a normal assault team wouldn't do, like snipers/silent kills and stuff like that. That is the purpose of the Spec Ops kit IMHO. If you look at my stats, u will see a lot of spec ops. If you see my avatar, you will see spec ops. I like to be special!

I was saying on some maps, using AAS. and obviously, if you cap all the flags you win

also, teamwork (medics, reiving etc.) improve overall K/D ratios, and helps you win the game

K/D is important, but whats more important is comitment and strategy, you need to be commited to your squad, play the game like its RL and pray not to get hit.

Deploy military strategies, dont just "attack" the flag, get ur squad behind the flag u just capped, get them all in the "map" (m key) and then explain your idea/strategy, ask for suggestion, plan it, execute it, own it!

That my friend is the greatest "winning" tool youll ever find, its more stronger than an M4! - but this all comes down to the squad, if your playing with not so great teamplayers then it wont as much.

oh and one thing i have learnt in my PR experince, DONT UNDER-ESTIMATE YOUR ENEMY....Always expect the unexpected, keep on your toes and use instincts, before i used to walk into ambushs, now i go around them and flank

Basically what I was trying to say with the K/D statement, is that capping flags (unless they are a bleeding flag or last flag) isn't the objective, as the AARC learned in todays match.

That is what I was trying to say. A defensive start of not capping flags, but just killing them and getting high K/D ratios is a way of winning.

People in PR usually go very aggressive and try to cap a flag at all costs (usually very high ticket cost) even when the flag has no direct ticket importance.

But even more so on Albasrah where the Insurgents have a BAZILLION tickets and the USMC have the same ammount that were sold to see the box office version of Entrapment...not very many.

I agree with everypoint except for saying thanks. If you are in some crazy firefight I really could care less if the guy says thanks or not as sometimes it's just a ***** trying to hit the right word command when you could potentially get shot to shit again.

Once you get rid of the Spec ops M4 killing spree the game will be more complete. Maybe the M4 is really like that and it is realistic dont know. But there has to be a halfway point between realism and gameplay. Whomever says that spawnkilling and M4 whoring is ok sorry but that is noobish and I think that you can consider yourself one too. It is exploiting and doesnt make this mod any better then Vanillia. All I want to really see is M4 nerfed to a point where it isnt a machinegun and it plays more like a rifle. I bet that Pr will take a big hit in people playing cause all those exploiters will leave for CS or vanillia. Sorry if what I say doesnt float your boat but Im not here to sugarcoat it Im here to say what I want to say. This game was created for TEAMWORK AND REALSTIC TACTICS. Please understand that this game isnt suppose to be a run and gun type game. It was made on the concept of what I said above so once more people get that and realize that thats what this community does and wants it will have better players.

Yes, exactly, people who use teamwork and tactics have better K/D ratios, and this leads to more game wins. What I am trying to dispel, is the theory that you need to cap flags to win. You don't. In todays tourney game (EJOD desert), RFAD (MEC) used a defensive tactic, and we let the AARC (US) attack us. We just mowed them down, wave after wave. Even though they had the square, it didn't matter. We used teamwork and tactics, fire positions, medics, and this gave us better survivability, and more kills, which improved our K/D ratios and evetually gave us a 200 ticket lead. Then we won the game, without the need to cap flags. (though eventually, we did cap the square and ruins, after the AARC abandoned them because they were getting killed so much)

There is NOTHING wrong with spawn killing as long as it isn't an uncappable spawn. When I'm trying to cap your flag, and I see you spawn, I'm not going to give you a chance, I'm going to shoot you.
