I watched Black Hawk Down last night. And while playing PR afterward, I couldn't believe how little real team play took place in the urban setting. Luckily I was with a really great squad. So we stacked corners, had pointmen, and assigned fire-zones. But still, there was little Of the covering as squadmates ran across streets that I would have liked to see. And cover fire was almost nonexistant. I'd like to think that more communication would help, but we were all on VOIP.
Maybe we just need to have lengthy tutorials in the tacticsWiki on squad movement in different settings.

I think if EA was smart and allowed mods to change specific things like VOIP settings we'd be in business... You know... add a third voip button to speak to those within earshot of you? Would make vehicles easier to work with non-squadies. BUT EA has the collective IQ of a rock. SO we can't expect anything like that from them

Nearly every damn time I tell my squad to put covering/suppressive fire on a certain position, they just go silent and look funny at me like I'm weird or something. But still, there was little Of the covering as squadmates ran across streets that I would have liked to see.
