normally they (the ones i saw atleast) staged them at a relatively close/secure point to move back to and rearm. similar to the way good squads/commanders already use the ingame supply crates. so i would say its not that big of an issue, considering along with that RPG-7 w/one round you get an AK. you shouldn't plan on taking out a tank or apc solo as light anti-tank anyway. you should be able to damage them or finish them off, hence "light" anti-tank. they already bring humvees/trucks to within seconds of explosion, which forces those inside to immediately dismount or die.
i think the light anti-tank, for the most part, is just fine. if you want more rounds, you need to communicate that to your squad leader and make sure you have a rifleman or supply drop for your squad.

I agree with your short answer. I hope they made the rearming work better. I've had issues with the light AT not reloading at all. Have they fixed the reloading stuff with the ammo packs that the rifleman drops? I've had issues with the ammo packs not rearming me no matter what I do. Then the ammo pack just disappears.Blaine wrote:i liked the video. im just wondering how the destructible buildings will be implemented.
yup, the AT4 is a one-use weapon. and as gyberg, i wouldn't suggest carrying two of them. i had to often lug one around the streets of fallujah on foot, i wouldn't suggest trying two. as for the RPG-7, two rounds would be nice, but then you get into balance issues and most "bad guys" just moved around with the one round loaded, running back and forth to a wpns cache to rearm. so it would make sense to leave it at one.
short answer. light at is good with one round.

'[R-DEV wrote:dbzao']Nothing *that* special, but some little things you will get on v0.5.

I'll be at work until late tonight. I'd like to see the vid, but my proxy won't allow youtube videos. Could someone please post it on another site. Maybe something like Google video or something? I'm trying to get a couple of my co-workers to start playing PR. This way I could show it to them as well. Thanks

Hmm... I've never had that problem. I mean, it always takes a while, and if people have already gotten ammo (or you got clips but not rockets while waiting for the rocket) then there may not be enough "ammo" left to give one rocket. Know what I mean? Just ask for two bags in future.rico11b wrote:I agree with your short answer. I hope they made the rearming work better. I've had issues with the light AT not reloading at all. Yeah I know what you mean. I've had it happen when I was all alone and the rifleman threw me a ammo pack and then ran away. There wasn't anyone else around to leech off the pack so to speak. I know what you are saying though.

I've got a fairly beefy computer, so what I say may mean nothing to people on low-end systems, but i've experienced no FPS loss from the buildings. I'd love to elaborate on how its done but that's matt.b's job lol. But yeah, no FPS loss. and if there is any, it'll only be for a second.Hauler wrote:Are all those effects going to hinder the game play any if you are able to blow up houses??? Very interesting indeed. But no sign of the F16 with cluster bombs, mavericks, rockets, 30mm gun pod and sidewinders as of yet...
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.
Many thanks to [R-DEV]Adriaan for the sig!
