heh yeah the guy in the M4 video has terrible shooting and safety practises (which can make a gun look like it has a lot more recoil / kick than someone who has a proper shooting stance).
In any case, the v0.4 M4 was not good for game play and I don't think anybody can scientifically or empirically argue as to the accuracy of the recoil modelling, so where we lack the ability to model things to an exact realism metric, making the choice on the side of game play will be what we do.

I dont use use RPG anymore since i cant hit nothing, it always go where i dont want it to go, and there is no way to counterbalance the deviation since sometimes it goes down and sometimes up
i think it should have this deviation only on ranged targets, cause right know is even hard to hit close targets a few metters away
Also, i think a rpg shoult do more damage to the cobra
I got 3 luck shots and manage to hit 3 cobras, they just flyed back to the airport and came back in no time

starnge i don't remember hearing about this sailbury plain day or hearing any range shooting and when they do shoot you can clearly hear it from my house.

I have one: All support gunners sould carry at least 4 drums of ammo. In real life they carry 16-18. I run out of ammo all the time as support, and it really isnt a very appealing class with just 2 drums of ammo. I think adding more ammo would also increase how much people use cover fire, because as it is support gunners are to worried about their tiny ammo supply to bother.

I agree. It's already a limited kit, why penalize the team by giving it so few cans?Deadmonkiefart wrote:I have one: All support gunners sould carry at least 4 drums of ammo. amen to that'[R-PUB wrote:MrD']hmm, that stock is wierd! it doesn't like he has it securely in his shoulder!
He doesn't keep the rifle aiming downrange with the safety off, he was lucky he didn't shoot himself in the leg or foot loads of times, plus he was firing stood straight up but with his weight on his back foot.
That guy does not know how to shoot at all!
Anthony Lloyd, himself a former soldier in the British army and a Northern Ireland and Gulf War veteran:
"The men inside (the APC) might have been UN but they were playing by a completely different set of rules. They were Swedes; in terms of individual intelligence, integrity and single-mindedness I was to find them among the most impressive soldiers I had ever encountered. In Vares their moment had come."
