Real quick disorganized suggestions..
Hey again.. these suggestions have no order whatsoever..but I would LOVE IT if something like this was in a mod PR..
Rooftops
In vanilla BF2, rooftops are useless. The ledges are no higher than my ankle which make the cover worthless. When you guys are in the mapping stage.. please please please.. make rooftops have nice ledgs to take cover behind.
Rooftops offer some great advantages, which is why alot of people will run to them.
On the other hand, the huge disadvantage is that you are immobile.
Rooftop-to-rooftop combat could be pretty intense too. Street level gives you minimal cover but maximum mobility, while on a rooftop you have great cover but everyone knows where you are.
Snipers
Will it be possible to create a nice thick line between snipers and sharpshooters?
Snipers should be horrible at close combat (compared to assault, specops classes) but have very long range and strong firepower.
The weapons should be hard to master, due to shake, wind, etc. The Barret is an example of a weapon that sniper would use.
The sharpshooter is the guy that runs with guns like the SVD. He should move with the squad and take out enemies and medium - long distances.. but nothing near what sniper could do.

I really believe there should be a seperate scout/sniper only squad with limited places. Snipers should carry all realistic equiptment including The long range sniper weapon that has a scope that must be adjusted only to distance that you can get only from your binos (normally unrealistic except for the XM range which auto works out air pressure,wind etc all you do is enter in the range and ammunition type.) Then we have no more unrealistic aiming above there heads at long ranges to hit.
I also think they should carry an M4 so it can only be used mainly in close ranges unlike the M16 which would give them too much power imo.
However snipers would be very slow and carry no armor or additional items like frags or smokes etc.
*Binos get the distance depending where you point them (like the tanks range finder in prmm)
*Long range Weapon like a XM107
or XM109 that aims according to the range inputted in to the weapon. (it uses the barret optical ranging sysetm, so no need to endter air pressure or wind etc)
*M4 or alternative for other countries. for any close heated situations the sniper comes across
*Its allot of equiptment so he would move pretty slow
*No armor
*No extra iventory of any kind
*Full camo webbing
As for the average sharpshooter present in squads they should carry a scoped M16 or alterantive for other countries etc and then the basic kit a regular infantryman has except obviously no rifle grenade because hed be a super soldier then
