No, no guys, you're way off.
Line and column formations are your best friends.
Having your squad in these formations will greatly reduce inner squad teamkills.
___
Another great thing to do to reduce platoon teamkills.
As the SL, you should be telling your assault guys what are friendly zones.
Example:
SL: Everything south of our position is green, shot anything.
SL We have one friendly south of our postion, he is looking south.
SL: Seize fire south, we have a friendly squad there. Let's head east to flank the enemy.
SL: Graindiders, shoots some grenades over that friendly squad, they are requesting support and spotting half a platoon to their south.
As the SL, you need to moniter text messages, and the random messages that come over the comm, and have a general idea of the battlefield, and what other squads are doing, and what other squads are designed to do.

Yes I was joking about the animationLothrian wrote:Whilst I am not defending abuse, if you TK someone, even by accident, you can be assured that they will be slighty annoyed for it - so a mooney animation would be like adding petrol to a flame. Obv you dont actually mean it, but the point being is, say sorry, forget it and move on - then your the one not rising to the bait.
For the most part, as long as there is a sorry, people dont care. Fishwork tked me once or twice last night... and he was my squad leader!!! Didnt matter because he apologised. (I cant remember if it was once or twice because he apologised no less than 5 times hehe)
Fishwork ... I forgive you!
What Iam trying to get across to people is we ALL tk and we will ALL be tked, treat people the way you want to be treated. If everyone did that vBF would still hold some appeal.
PR claims to be a community, but sometimes the community is forgotten for an individual, mainly...."SELF"
Hands up all those that go onto PR to receive verbal abuse......, I get abused everyday at work for doing my job, when I relax by playing a GAME I dont expect, nor want, nor deserve ANY form of abuse.
Yes, I yell "Shit" and other choice words when I die by enemy hands and by friendly....but NEVER, EVER over voip.
I can also apologise quicker than kill someone..... had plenty of practice
Cheers

okLothrian wrote:A bit off topic, but general rule, if you see a fellow forumer, join them - its more fun because they are the community, and with the expection of none, its like one big happy family that likes to kill and mame each other.
Especially the aussies... since bigdy and internode are the only PR aussie servers that I know of.
