Longer take off times for jets?
I never liked that in BF2 you could take off in a jet after like 12 feet of forward motion. Will this be changed in an upcomeing update to PR? I just get so fed up with pilots getting off the ground and pulling stright up in jets like the A10. I hope this is changed some time soon. A good wormup time for jets would also be great.
During Warmup you should be able to move the jet around on the ground an into the right position for take off. Then on the take off we should use almost the whole runway to get off the ground so it looks better and takes longer to get jets in the air. Then after take off you should not be allowed to fly at a 90 dagree angle for about 5 seconds......

I think those figures are back to front. After 3 seconds you can garentee 90% of your team on deck. After 35seconds, you can garentee you have about 3, one being AFK.BetterDeadThanRed wrote:So the F18 can teamkill 14 team mates instead of just 8 on the carrier? (Which is why we need either the Harrier or the F35.) Otherwise I completely agree.
This is needed and is realistic. Atm, maps like GoA are jus ta carreir rape fest for the SU-25 Frogfoot as it jus tdoes one strafe and racks up a dew good kills. Can be the same for the Hornets too. Also...Its just realistic.

I don't mind the take off time as much as stalling. You don't stall from going to fast and too high (unless your 20 to 30,000 feet in the air) And the stalling is appaling, you don't stall facing up and and going at a random angle, your nose should drop down and head for the ground. I'm not asking for a flight sim, just a little more realistic planes if engine allows.

We also need ATC, full checklist checks for start-up, take-off and landing, G-force impact on pilot while doing crazy moves i the sky (also injures aircraft), player controlled setting of flaps and landing gear and of course, onboard FMC. yay
But BS aside. To be honest, as a flightsimmer, some of the highly unrealistic aircraft handling and physics do annoy me.
