As someone already typed, they would be good for scouts and recon. Also, there is a mysteries way they can help out their side that we do not know about.
Here is the best thing they will do for the team:
FORCE THE CORP TO IDENTIFY INDIVIDUALS AND CONFIRM THEIR DANGER.
The greatest advantage the tangos have in Iraq now is hiding behind civilians. Shooting at anything that moves is horriable tactics with such battlefield conditions.
In a stand-up fight the Corp would destroy them. Sadly this is not the case. Good to see the Mod take this direction.

My only question is:
What defines collateral damage?
If they drive over mines will that be collateral?

Be cool if you could press left click and scream. How fun would that be. Some jarhead would be chassing you done to capture and your screaming your head off. lol.
Also, be cool if the civis had their differnt types of cars beside the spawn car. Granted there is the motorbik, but a lot of the vehicles are equipped for assault.
Basically, I would like it set-up so a civi could not get into Optimus Prime or any type of assault car because it is a clear danger to the Corp. Also some of the trucks have guns mounted on them.
Here is good tactic for the Civis:
1. Get in a ride that is not threating and drive toward an enemy positions (north VCP). If they Corp blows you away, they lose tickets and retard their chances of winning.
Note: driving around to drive over jarheads will get you kicked from the tactical gamer server. A Civi would not be doing this.
