Headshot

Post by Valtasar »

I'm think it's hapend to you, when you shot a burst in a guy head and he just torn around and kill you. So I have an idea how avode that.
When you got a shot in the head but (and stay alive) youre gun jumps up in left corner of the screan.
PS:
Sorry if it bean suggested before, I'm sucks at searching.

I'm not sure I understand you. Do you mean like when someone dies they pull the trigger as they fall potentially killing the killer?

That would be nice
But I meant something diferent. If you got shot in the head and stay alive to simulate a disorent. youre gun jump in up left/right corner.
Write now you got cought effect, but I think it is not enought.

Getting Shot in the head and surviving is due to the BF2 engine hitbox+lag.

Getting shot into head results immediate death without a chance of being revived.

I'm confused. You want a special animation to indicate a headshot?
(Do we get the CS Headshot icon too? BOOM! Headshooooooooot. I can dance all day!)

what hes saying is that when you survive a HS you lose accuracy for a sec

The prob is HS is always 1 shot kill, just that it dosnt register some times

I thought he meant when you get shot in the head, your weapon drops out of your hands... Apparently, I'm wrong...

WHat he is talking about is blood loss and impact shock gaming rules implementation.

Whereby a soldier who is hit with a round is stunned, unable to aim and effectively fire back at the enemy who shot him. A shotgun, nade or rpg would also make a guy be pushed backwards or fall over, a simple rifle round would drop him to his knees, sap all his stamina, disallow jumping.

A soldier with a bullet in the head will not be able to shoot back. the soldier will either die on the spot, or be incapacitated.

Now that would make this game so much better...

Ok... I'm pretty sure he's simply talking about a headshot that doesnt get registered.

I'm also pretty sure that there's nothing that can be done about it, as its a bug due to the terrible hitboxes and lag issue.

Same as when you would knife someone in vBF2 and see the dust fly out but they are still running around.
