i had grown a bit tired of bf2's constant arcadiness. this mod is cool and i am trying to interest people in my squad to play it regularly on our server.
that said there are a few things that stood out in need of tweaks.
1 support - the recoil is just a bit too extreme - tone it down a bit maybe 20%. that said i think support should take noticably longer to crouch and even longer to go prone than the other guys. and much longer to get up - say 3 or 4 seconds. that way you play as support and not some attacker with a mad spraying 200 round uber gun.
2 - tanks - ammo counter. needed. and reloading sounds would help explain the pause between rounds better. i like the fact that i have to walk my bullet rounds to the target. great!
3 - the assualt rifles are lovely. damage value may need to go up a bit but they handle wonderfully. great work.
4 - is there some sort of bleeding/wounded effect? that doesn't really come off properly. i'd rather have a persons aim go a bit wobbly or the screen go blurry for a while for each wound pulse and you auto shout medic or something. ATM i kept looking around to see who was shooting me but no-one was there. i'd get rid of this aspect but thats only IMHO.
thats really all i noticed. i love the lack of cross hairs. now there's a real reason to use iron sights. i like the fact that bullets seem to go more where you aim than based on amd random spread (tho it still did seem to have some dispersion).
