TBH, im not too bothered about the animation, i think its fine for poeple to dive for cover as an evasive tactic. Its the allowing to shoot, which is not made more difficult as your view just drops lower nice and smoothly... compared to what your enemy sees - you going flat mid air and bellyflopping the dirt, or rolling to one side. the person whos diving view doesnt jerk up and down or spin 360 degrees. Also with insurgents RPG they gain accuracy boost when dolphin diving ala Nilla
So as with vanilla theres accuracy boost when diving to prone is it not possible to invert for a short time? To match how long the diving animation lasts + small refocus time.

I seem to have been called for. I am looking into ways of manipulating the speed with which people can go prone but so far I can't tell anything more. I'm working on the manual as of now and once that is complete I will go back to animation tasks and that includes taking a look at proning and if there is anything I can do about it.
Something may come out of this but maybe it's too hardcoded to get anything useful done. Needs more research from me before I can tell.
