Al Basrah Spawn Cars

I understand that, after being destroyed, spawn cars will respawn, but only a limited number of times. How many total cars do the insurgents receive?

I know the palace cars seem to spawn forever but I have no idea about the others.

I didn't think there was any limit. Personally I'd like to see more spawn cars, but with only maybe 2 of them respawning. And maybe make a special kit whose only use is to disable the spawn cars so that people can't move them. And you have to apply for the kit like commander. And you don't get a gun. And..... OK, I'm done now.

Insurgent mechanics should be able to "build" or "set" static spawn cars at the cost of tickets... Bad idea kinda...

I've grown to really dislike the idea of spawn cars. Not only because of griefers. Maybe it's because they respawn, so after you spend 20 minutes getting most of them and securing the area, they respawn and you're being raped from 38 different directions again.

At the very least, they should only respawn at Palace, and have to be driven from there.

id like to see them tweaked a bit but basically they are a very fun element... maybe the most forward one should only spawn once adn then the more rear ones multi spawn...

prob is a very effective USMC team will just destroy them all pronto and game over...

not to mentoned they are bugged as hell and sometime you cannot spawn on them at all as insurgents.

having said that, i was insurgents on thors once and we had nearly 15 spawn cars on the 48 player map so that was pretty much spawn, rape usmc jihad, repeat.

Spawn cars are a nice touch. Except when noobs/griefers/morons drive them straight into destruction...
"Wut? Its not a taxi? LOLers"

Maybe make it so that not all classes can drive them? Make them into ambulances that only medics can drive maybe? Well, battle-ambulances then... Without blinkenlights and sirens...

i guess the thing we all have to remember is that the insurgents are designed for very unconventional warfare... id like to see their shooting ability decrease a little and then an organized usmc forces could walk in a sweep the city clean from range...thats my dream anyhow...hehe

maybe spawn cars should not respawn if they are in the proximity of a flag controlled by USMC. You can still drive one directly on the USMC flag if you want.

I don't like the idea of spawn cars only being driven by a set class. Its a car, I think anyone should be able to figure out the complex tactics required to move it. I hate guys using them as personal taxis as much as the next guy but don't want them locked. The problem is that if they aren't mobile (except for a certain kit) the US know where your car is going to be most of the time. The insurgents need the element of suprise and confusion from popping up everywhere :grin:

A limited respawn amount would be nice. Do the cars respawn only at set spots currently or is it more random? I know they start the round in the same places.

To stop the griefers, maybe one could make it so one can immobilize them by deliberately shooting the tires/motor? Like a tank with damaged tracks.

So spawncars spawn at palace or whereever and have to be driven whereever needed.

Immobilizing cars with a well placed shot would be fun, also with humvees...
