adding a timer on going prone
hi guys, just thought i would ask if you guys could put in a timer on going prone and geting back up (like changing a mag) as seeing soldiers go instantly prone looks dodgy as hell.

umm maby you can add the sheel shock feature for a sec or two while diveing to the floor or not "probily the best way for this to work" or make it whare you have to croch then go prone
my view
Specal ops shood not be afected i think most of them can shoot and dive at same time but whn you hit the floor depending if are wareing a kevler vest or not the impact is diffrent.
umm LAW guys shood take the bigest impact from diveing to prone becuse you have about 60 pounds of gear on youre back
and its realy hard to hold a saw or rpk infront of you whiile trying to dive into prone. And what you do in game is "diveing in to prone"

Diging thread from the forum death...
I think there shall be longer proning time... i had jumping on ground guys in my face... and bang i am dead...
At least MG shall not prone so fast.. he has heavy&big gun, right?
I know that under fire i shall hit the dirt fast... but it is over-used right now...

However, EA has said nothing about prone jumping.
I dont know if you guys have seen this, but it looks fucking ridiculous, and its actually a viable tactic for avoiding fire. You go prone and you jump, and your avatar hovers above the air, while his body still stays in prone position. If this is not fixed, its gotta be changed, its FUBAR.
