First two things for snipers...damn pussies, no! All fcking snipers want to be Leet these days...
And a ground trap...could be only done by making holes, when building the map and putting a special object over them, like a quad of leafs to hide the hole...not sure, thats what they have today....try EoD, they got pungi sticks there...

The problem with tree houses and dug-outs is that we can all learn the map, so if I, for example, had a sniper kit, the first thing I'd do is to check those locations for enemy snipers, and so would everyone else if the cover was in their line of sight. What I mean is that tree houses and dug-outs are actually death traps for snipers. I'd rather opt for more bushes on some maps as those, in my opinion, are the best cover a sniper could get.
Besides, tree houses, dug outs and man traps are a bit World War 2-ish, don't you think?

Within a week everyone would know the exact locations of the holes and sniping positions. If there is one thing i learnt from BF2 SF, Operation ghost town, DONT SNIPE FROM A TOWER.
Its like the N0ub sniper in saving private ryan who choses, not a high window with lots a neibourghing windows, but a church tower....NubBLes.

Yes and know...i can safely say that if well concealed they are very good fighting postions... the nice thing is that as our maps get bigger (adn they are)
there will me less adn less memorization of levels...so you are less liklely to know about every inch of the map...
ive mad e aspecial effort to make my new level as random as possible terrain wise..hopefully that will help to break up some of the repetitive stress syndrome that develops on maps...

Sounds like a perfect fit for insurgents! Give them a shovel item, so that they can dig a hole, and throw some IEDs inside. When a Marine walks over the hole, they can explode the IEDs, killing the marine in a gruesome manner! Perfect trap!Guerra wrote:This isn't Vietnam. Mantraps are absurd and against the Geneva convention, since its a painful, cruel way to die, and it can also harm civilians.
As an added bonus, give shovels to Marines and enable them to erect Hesco walls by shoveling sand inside.
