would it be possible for a certain amount of shell holes to appear in the ground, where the shells have hit

Cant make a crater, in the bf2 engine, you cant tweak the terrain in the middle of playing in a map. I dont know if there could be stuff like black spots appear after explosion. Just as you see bullets hiit the wall could have an effect for shells hitting the ground. On top of rooftops and streets would be cool.

But a 3d static that look like a crater could spawn, but it would look weird on roof and trees because the crater could be bigger than the house/tree...
First I don’t know anything about modding. Second is the point of the hole to make an obstacle for people if so would spawning a object in on the spot of the artillery hit that was a solid object in the form of a piece of land with a hole and also would it be possible to make only some of the object to have collision so it would fit into any spot on the map?
