welll ive never seen a soldier climbing a building with this thing...only in some movies(unrealistic at all) , so my question is, does this (hook) exists irl and its used for climbing?

not showing it in action... but here it is..

I think we need a new model and animation
Typical Applications:
Covert Military Applications
Ship-to-ship, ship-to-shore.
Inshore rescue.
Cliff and building rescue/retrieval.
Traversing difficult terrain.

OMG teen flashback - I made a 3 prong hook in shop. We took the canoe out to the beached freighter they have for Marina break wall in Port Credit http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=q&hl=en&q= ... &z=17&om=1 and used it to 'infiltrate' the ship from the open water side.
Marine Police showed up rather promptly and kicked us off tho
