I would like to see implemented ingame, in the absence of a full suite of animations for removing safeties and sighting, having to press the trigger for the time taken to count 1 - - 2 - - 3-fire. Now that would effectively kill the unrealistic behaviour ingame, where you have to actually think before you use an AT rocket.

As mentioned on another thread I've seen guys jump up over low walls and launch them in mid air. The question of 'accurate shots' is unfortunately not all the helpful since you often don't need much accuracy, it's a kill providing you get it near the enemy.
Personally I would suggest that running and jumping be entirely disabled when you have a rocket launcher shouldered and it should take several seconds to go from unshouldered to shouldered. This would still make it an effective weapon against vehicles and infantry, it would just mean you can't use it like this was Quake

But anyone can run and jump with an RPG slung over their shoulder. I mean, as much as they could if it wasn't shouldered.n|ghtshader wrote:As mentioned on another thread I've seen guys jump up over low walls and launch them in mid air. I just say they shouldn't be able to fire while moving, only when they are at a complete stop.

You should be able so move slowly, not to encourage whoring but come on, you could move a few inches or so to adjust in RL, why not in game.n|ghtshader wrote:I reckon an RPG is pretty heavy and not easy to balance when shouldered, you end up dropping the thing all over the place.
But no firing unless stationary would work too, as would a realistic firing sequence (it's quite long IRL). Anything that prevents using it in an unrealistic way![]()

What do you base this on? Lack of accuracy or recoil..... because an rpg is "recoiless"Fearosius wrote:In real life, if you ran while firing an RPG, you would damage your arm really badly or in the worst case, blow it off.

Can anyone fire an AT4 or RPG-7 while prone? The backblast could hit your leg right? I don't know, just asking... Anyway, I like the idea of having to at least fire an AT weapon while standing still or while kneeling...Bobert08 wrote:I just say they shouldn't be able to fire while moving, only when they are at a complete stop.

Yeah how are these people shooting any weapon in mid air (bunny hopping)? The game takes away the use of your gun when you jump...
