the DEVs said that objects will render at a larger distance now, including guns.
Re-read the "overhaul of aircraft in 0.6" thread. It tells you there.
No, I'm can't be bothered to look for it for you, so go look for it yourself.

If you've played long enough, you will be able to recognise a guys stance through binocs/scope of a sniper rifle and relate it to the type of weapon.
If a guy has his hands around and above his chest, hes AT for instance.

Ask simple question, get 3 pages of people taking cheap shots at the US. lollerz, omgzorz we too funny.
Anyway, civilians are a horrible idea in a public game where the level of role play will be low. There is no way that the civilian class will be used properly. The Dev's may have good intentions but they can't deprogram stupidity or smacktards.

I can picture it now...
A squad or group of civilians are just screwing around and not actually helping the team... They go inside one of the houses and they just sit on the couches until a squad of USMC soldiers go in the house and the civilians start using the chat saying "This is our house you can't come in!" and then the civilians will block the doorway from the inside...
Oh well, we'll see what happens when it's out...

Heck, I know what I'll be doing as a Insurgent, tucking real close to a civilian and use them as a shield for incoming fire. Chances are people firing at me will hit him first and lose points, while I just fire over his shoulder or over his head. Ah, gotta love human shields.

I got one better. Have several civilians line up and make a wall. Now that is a shield. lolswiftdraw wrote:Heck, I know what I'll be doing as a Insurgent, tucking real close to a civilian and use them as a shield for incoming fire.
