I would prefer to have cap zones which you can't spawn into. The flag area will still cause bleed, however the only way to support a captured base is to hoof it. If you take out all the capture points and make it based on kills alone, then you are regressing the game, to the point of death match. Please see below >Corey Darling wrote:I like that idea about extending the control points.
what about removing control points all together? except ofcoarse the one spawn point? That way stratigic positions to be held by a squad must be decided upon before hand, instead of just rushing to cap the nearest point where more friends can spawn right in the middle of a fire fight, with a possibly cut-off squad.
The only way to get support is either by transport in or by fighting your way to the cut-off squad's position.
So instead of baseing ticket loss on Capture points, maybe just on player kills/team kills etc...

You can just blow your enemy's hands off with at shotgun, and he wouldn't be able to fight back...
"RUN BOY, RUN!!"
And who says, you suffer from a couple of tours to Iraq?!?

Sorry if I offended you (or anyone else)... I guess it's hard to "hear" the irony in written text (which I don't blame).YoJimbO wrote:I second that... A little tasteless...![]()
I'm just used to joking alot about these things (especially around other soldiers, as they mostly get the points), but I'm aware that not everyone thinks it's funny!
But I think further discussion of this belongs in the "Off Topic"-section...

Delayed entry an exit, would be best used in armor and aircraft. It does seem a little absurd at how fast you can get in and out of some vehicles. Jeeps and the like are fine, as it is fairly easy to open a car door and bail out ( hurts like hell though believe me ). It would be nice to have a delay, especially in armor, adds to the suspense when the alarm starts blairing and you know time is limited for evacuation. Add a little more shitting in your pants fealing when you don't know if you can get clear fast enough or not. I still want exploding heads though!
