I think the commander should be way more hands off compared to how it is now. no satelite, no UAV, as PR has already done no full zoom. the only way he can get supplies to an area should be to tell a suplly chopper to bring them, the only way to get artillery is to relay a request from a squad leader to the player operated batteries.

Im not sure if binoculars are given to everyone, i remember reading in generation kill that the guys in one humvee were sharing a pair between the lot of them.

I was on the T-K-A server last night, and there were about 6 of us playing - I was playing commander for quite a while but decided to resign 'cause I was hungry...

Anyway getting to the point - when I came back, I noticed that the new commander (forgot the name sorry) had enabled the UAV! This obviously confused the hell out of me because PRMM has apparently REMOVED the UAV ability from the game.

Not only was this guy able to use the UAV, but as soon as it "ran out", he was able to instantly re-engage it, allowing a constant UAV scan on our mini-maps. I asked him "wtf are you doing?" or something of the sort, "wha?!" was the reply, I said "you're using UAV, and a constant reuse of it too, how the hell?" - he just gave some sort of *wink wink* comment, then he left the server about 5mins after...

Man I hate people who dont use games as it were intended.

I really dont see the enjoyment in hacks/exploits, you know you're cheating - so you're not battling your skills vs the next guy.

I dont suppose we're ever going to get away from cheats. :(

I guess the only way is to make a server locked, by invitation only.

Hmmm, but who decides on who gets invited?

Just kick the guy if enough people complain I guess - which is what generally happens anyway - providing a mod is online at the time.

I concur, these fuckers should be taken out to a field and beaten to within an inch of their life. It seems many of them do it for the respect they get having a high score, unaware that everyone playing has no respect and indeed has nothing but contempt for the loser. It's generaly quite easy to tell a good player from a hacking *****! As for who gets invited, you only invite people who you are personaly going to vouch for, after all if they get caught hacking or exploiting it will reflect badly not only on them but on the one who invites them, ultimately meaning neither of them are invited back again. I know of only 1 associate ( hate calling him a friend ) who cheats and no-one I know would invite him to anything except a good beating.
