Explosion Graphics
I dont know whether any of you have played xww2 for BF1942 (http://www.xww2.com). The explosion graphics which they have implemented are amazing.
Here are some screens though you have to play it to get the full effect.

http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w259 ... Caen02.jpg
http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w259 ... Wake02.jpg
So I am wondering would it be possible to implement something like this into PR.
I am sure if you went to the Xww2 and asked them Very nicely................
Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaassseeeeeee! I will give you a cookie.
PS. I wish FH had those and especially on a Battle of Britain, it would have been awesome and really realistic.
PPS. I know this may seem off-topic, but it isnt, it is a suggestion, for PR.
PPPS. NO, I havent used photoshop!!!!

I think that explosions now should have a shorter flame exposure because now the VOD appears to be that of ANFO.

Well that depends on several factors such as: What kind of explosive is being detonated (low order, high order/low VOD,thermobaric etc.), is other combustible materials present such as fuel, flammable aerosol particles, propellants/pyrotechnics flammable gas etc.El_Vikingo wrote:Are huge hollywood fireball effects realistic?

Also dependant on which movies you are referring to.
A simple aswer would be no, not in most cases.
EDIT:
That's the explosion from the missile dispersing and igniting the fuel, not really the explosion itself.

Ok point is it can happen so they should put it in the game.Guerra norte wrote:Well that depends on several factors such as: What kind of explosive is being detonated (low order, high order/low VOD,thermobaric etc.), is other combustible materials present such as fuel, flammable aerosol particles, propellants/pyrotechnics flammable gas etc.

I found it quite funny that they said that it was an american helicotper in Iraq, that is unless americans just recently started operating Hinds.
