Time... time... time.... there isn't enough time for this to work, even though it's a nice idea: think about it: you're wounded, you're down or you have mushroom vision. There's no medic nearby. Scrambling a chopper or rushing a vehicle to you would be of no use as you'd probably be in respawn country by the time they got to you.
Also, you can't move critically wounded bodies (apart from shifting them with field dressings) as it's hard-coded.

I am generally not that into Medic stations or Medevac stuff. Ambulances and/or medevac helicopters are just stupid .. why would I take a 5 or 6 minute trip in a vehicle to save 1 ticket when I can just respawn and kill 2 enemies to even it up???
I do think we'll look at Medic stations at airports so that banged up pilots can land and get first aid.
But I see them as just being either an unnecessary or problematic game play element beyond that.

Dont think about it as tickets though Eggman. This is a reality mod is it not?
I think it would be great gameplay, to call for a medic and a medical chopper flys down your squad covers you and you jump into the chopper then it re heals you.
It would be easy to make, Just re-skin the black hawk for example, and whereas now you cannot take off without a pilot kit. I the medic chopper you cant take off without a pilot AND a medic on board.
As for the insurgents i think that they should have medical dumps just like the ammo ones. So they can fall back and get some treatment. Its what they do it real life.
I dont think it would actually cause that many bugs. But then again i am not a DEV lol.

Yeah comander could set a medical tent, once caped the flag and set a fire base or bunker. It could play a nice support role for the rest of the squads, thx comander!!!
There is some tent models already in game that could be reskined with a red cross in it. Shock paddles could be a limited kit too that medics could get in the tent.

I've thought a while about this, and although I'm fairly sure it's just pie in the sky ideas, I think it would add a great gameplay addition.
A squad member gets wounded, the combat medic comes with field dressings (only the medic gets them, they only heal up to 39 HP, IIRC, 40 HP is when you start bleeding) The squad calls for a medivac, which can either be a HUMVEE, an APC, or a helicopter, these heal to about 50 HP, stopping bleeding but still leaving you fairly vulnerable. Finally the Medivac arrives at the main base or Field Hospital, these can heal all the way to 100 HP. Again, the limits for how much a certain object can heal you to is most likely hardcoded, and this is just wishful thinking.
