Cheater HAVEN?

I think most of the DVB guys would qualify in that respect.

But you don't need to be very experienced to see that when long time players have score like 32K 15d and someone new has a score like 78k 2d that something is odd.

Those are the people that I mention in the threads because as a player I don't have the ability to screenshot vie PB and obtain proof.

We have those threads so that admins get a heads-up and take a longer look at players with abnormal scores.

The only way to keep cheating from becoming rampant is to be vigilant and if you are unfairly accused there are more than enough bleeding hearts who will defend you.

Perhaps Ecko is correct and his friend was not intentionally using a hack but just because you know somebody for 3 years or 30 years doesn't mean that they aren't cheating, on the game, their taxes or their wife.

I believe the DVB guys to be fair minded people and if there is a reasonable explanation then perhaps the ban could be lifted.

But screenshots don't lie.

Myself and =82nd= In no way endorse cheating, we are here for team play and realistic squads. Anyone who has played with any of us will most likely agree.

I won't even get into the details of what I think of people who feel the need or desire to use cheats in a game.

I am glad that there are some server admins that are taking a stand and calling these people out. Its not just the game itself that makes a gaming community what it is, it is the quality of the people who play the game.

Sure, dealing with people's ignorance, attitudes, egos and over all flecktardedness is unpleasant, but nothing bugs me more than jackholes that cheat and purposely take advantage of game bugs.

That's not even balances master ban list. That's a third party site. He can still use his current game to access PB servers which means he is not on the master ban list.

That's PunksBusted! It's the universally accepted master ban list for PB, partnered up with even balance. To dismiss it as 3rd party is to miss the point. If you are on the PB master ban list you CAN still join servers that aren't using the master ban list. That's why all servers should use it if they are serious about keeping cheaters out. It's fine if you don't want to accept or support PunksBusted, but everyone else does - leagues, reputable server admins, etc - across dozens of games.

BTW I just downloaded the Beta and it is very good, I particularly like this one foresty map.
