That or the complete occupation of the US with Chinese forces... or the complete destruction of most nations on earth when one side decides to use nuclear weapons when they're on the brink of defeat.'[R-PUB wrote:BrokenArrow']i doubt we'll fight the chinese. the US is worth way too much money for them to do anything against us, not to mention largescale action b china would probably result in sanctions and the crippling of their economy.

Point well taken here man.requiem wrote:I made the decision for the team not to follow a real-life theater of war out of respect for anybody who has gone through it.
I also see the importance of the freedom of options for the Mod to go in any particular direction that it wants really. It allows for much more diversity and obviously knocks down many of the limitations that a set storyline would produce..
I see no use for any particular storyline here.
For now I think we would be much better off with storyline based MAPS instead of a whole storyline for the Mod itsself...

Maps are key in the story telling. You dont have to make the whole Iraq/Afghan invasion to make the story. Just make alot of city/Desert/Village maps that make you feel like you are on the front lines. IMHO Desert maps would be awesome. Kind of like Desert Storm when the US sent in all the cavalry units in their tanks and such to wipe out the Iraq resistance. Something where Infantry, Attack Helos, and Armor duke it out in the middle of nowhere with village and pillbox CP's. Agree/Disagree?'[R-PUB wrote:GRB']Point well taken here man.
