Will its a 15mbit link, so thats 1.875MB/S both ways, during work hours we use about 2-3 mb ONLY of the download and maybe 500kb upload.

This should be PLENTY.

I'm curiuos to know how much is used for 64, maybe i wont be able to make 2 64 people servers.

Bandwidth varies based on how many people are connected. Can be up to 6MBit or so.

Good, so i could donate 2 servers then.

We will see how the first one goes, if it works out i'll setup a 2nd for "vets".

NoLimit, on another thread someone just suggested a very good idea - the guy's from a Clan who're planning to hand out reserved slots to anyone who posts a request the thread with their in-game name. I pointed out he'll quickly have his reserve list so full that he could fill the server with reserved names, and thus neglify the entire process as then even other reserved names couldn't join.

What he's now considering doing is inviting people to post their names, then getting in touch via private message to ask people a question or two about PR to assertain that they know how to play the game as the dev team intend. If they demonstrate they're aware of teamplay, correct shovel useage etc, he'll then give permission.

A similar system would be workable for that 2nd server, if you ultimately decide to go ahead with it. Alternatively, give a reserved slot to everyone on the PR team and make it the "Challenge the Devs/Mods/Pubs" server ;) :-P

nah....i dont think any kind of reservation system is a good idea... we will just have the devs admining and you will see gauranteed good gameplay..

if anyone was around for the old glroyhoundz server...its was the ubber server of all gameplay of alltime in all parallel universes...

so thats what we will work towards i believe...

anywya thanks heaps their nolimit....naturally YOU will have a slot priority..

bascially we want a place to attract teamplayers and NEW players...not a locked up little home to hide for leet players...

I dont think im really a VET yet seeing as i only played end of .4 till now but im a REALLY good team player. I don't mean like im l337 but i play well with a team win or lose. So i would love to see a VET server go up and get in on that action. Ive always wanted to get in on the TG thing but never really made moves to get that password. Those TG guys still do that?

password night on TG...OWNS. The gameplay is tougher but everyone definitely is into chain of command and always works together...no lone wolfs...all SL's know whats up 90% of the time. The nice thing is, if you are commander, the other SL's will definitely give up some advice for defense and who needs what and where. The enemy is skilled though, not just some jokers in pubs.

Thank You !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GH is back, along with all the variations of the name !!
And as the windshield melts
My tears evaporate
Leaving only charcoal to defend.
Finally I understand the feelings of the few.
