Roads
I am not sure how possible this is (although I do know there are map entities that can slow down ground vehicles, I'm not sure how you can boost their speed)
I would, both for realism and gameplay's sake, like to see ground vehicles travel faster when they are on roads. Such a difference would obviously affect some vehicles more than others in real life, yet again I'm not sure if/how in depth such a feature could be implemented. If it hasn't been looked in to, I'd say it's definitely worth doing so.
It would add a whole new dimension of gameplay (teams would want to hold control of roads), be more realistic, and allow players to get into the action quicker.

yeah yeah...
im an experienced cyclist, and i know MORE than most that jumping onto a road gives you insta speed. when you hop back onto almost any other surface, other than rock, you slow wayy down. especially things like sand, mud, grass, and water. even dirt trails are slower.
and MAKE THE HUMVEE FASTER
IRL those things have a TS of like 80 mph.

I agree, if possible it would make roads more tactically valuable.
ArmA didn't really do anything, it's the same code from Operation Flashpoint.DarkTalon wrote:ArmA did a pretty good job with this, most of the fights would occur near roads because of this.

Probably not Ghost but its hilarious to cap the driver in the back of the head while he speeds away from you. Its also fun to launch a light AT right into that open back (try this at home kids!).

Pretty sure they would have to redo the entire model to make it closed though. Probably not worth the time.
