No problem. Consider my earlier comment retracted if you take back what you said about Wolfmaster, who is a moderator here. For future reference, when people make suggestions we do prefer they say why it would be good for the mod and we do like having people who know their stuff around to critique our models and other factors of the game. Welcome aboard.

yeah mike and I go back a long ways, trust me we're both huge fans of the mod and if I could do anything more than critique or research I def would be doing so. Is there anyway I can join the team to contribute my services or do you guys lack that department as of right now?

if the m14 hits you, you're down for the count... it was the rifle replaced by the m16 in vietnam (I won't go into specifics, you could argue the ar blah blah replaced the m14 blah blah) but to keep it simple, the m14 was replaced by the m16 naturally...

wait, in that pic its a sniper rifle. and you said it replaced M-16. isn the M-16 an automatic?

M-14 was originally an assault rifle.

Carried a 20 round magazine, IIRC.

And it was replaced by the M-16.

all guns can be made to be auto... first series of m16 were fully auto i believe, then switched down to 3 round burst, single, etc etc.. they can be modified easily... as are m14s.. they can also be semi,burst, or full auto firing weapons.. the thing is, firing a m14 on full auto isnt always reliable (not my words, but words from a soldier currently using one in Iraq) so it's generally select semi auto firing.. or burst occasionally, just depending on how they have them modded.... most of the rifles in iraq/afgahn whether they're m4s, m16s, or m14s are heavily modded to suit the shooter/user...

as you said, there are sniper versions, m14, m21 is an upgraded, m25 as well.. etc etc.. there are just endless options of customization for the m14... and it does the job VERY well in combat..
