Whats up with the A10 domination?
I've been on Kashan several times and just been dominated continuously by the A10. We would have 3 pilots in the air and 1 A10 would just be working our armor and other jets over. I assumed our pilots were sucky but I have seen this many times since. Is there something up or is the A10 just awesome? You'd think the migs could work it over but they seem to struggle. I'm not saying the A10 is overpowered or anything, just curiuos as to everyone else experience with this.

BOOOO!!! Then where do we get to fly? And have some nice dogfights? Its the only map in rotations with planes. Like i seen in another thread somewhere. Make locks hard to get and Air to Air missiles DEADLIER. Good pilots will excel.

I don't think planes are totally out of place, but I do think they should be put back into the toy box until at least v0.7 when missiles and AAVs are improved (if they're being improved in 0.7) as well as making the handling more realistic and whatnot.
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

I think the AAVs are fine. Its the Air to Air missiles that are the problems. I have had locks that should have never missed just vere off right before hitting the target.

Good pilots can turn the tides of battle. Just like a commander using assets or not using assets. Or one team with a CO and one without one. Getting rid of the planes because you had a great pilot destroying you isnt the right option. Get in a plane and train up and take that A10 out. I can make it so the A10 won't bother the Armor. Just keep the nubs out of the planes so i can get one.

I agree on the 32 player vs of Kashan....MUCH better. I say play to the strengths of the engine and stick with the Choppers...I think they are modeled/function MUCH more realistically than the jets within the scope of PR. I'm all for putting the Jets away, until they can fit with PR in a better way. I think the issue goes beyond more than poor AA rockets as well. Just my .02 though.

Put the Cobra and Mi28 Havok back in and tanks would be getting raped by them. Kashan is for pilots and armor. Al Kufrah Oilfield is for helos and armor. Don't kill the one map we still have.
A good Mig or F16 pilot can take out the frogfoot or A10. If you dont go to war with all your assets your going to lose. A team with a good A10/Frogfoot pilot has an advantage over one with out. Just like team with a CO and one without one.
