More cover
If there are new urban maps in the making, there needs to be more cover in the streets and more enterable buildings. I'm not talking about having a huge network of indoors, but just more hallowed-out buildings like we already have. And almost every roof should be useable. I was just playing karkand, and on the streets, there isn't much cover. There needs to be more burnt out cars, sandbags, and craters.

Yah, bf2 maps lack cover, especially urban maps, where 75% of buildings are locked up and you cannot go in them.
I would really appreciate some custom dynamic cover objects, like some pile of junk to hide behind that'll blow up when you run it over or throw a grenade at it or somthign.
imagines new maps in PR....

In the heat of battle, I doubt someone would see a car right next to them and a hole 10 yards away, then run to the hole. Gotta go with what is available. Although I do agree, more Arty craters or something would be cool.BLind wrote:more tenches and dugouts and shell holes tbh, stuff like the circular holes found in the squares on karkand and masteur.
i just prefer the idea of diving into a ditch or hole more than sitting behind a burning car.

More cover would make the game more tactical. It makes the game limited if everyone is forced to have to run across the street everytime for cover. They would just get mowed down. And the vanilla maps are totally set up for that fast running/no AAS. So now that the enemy knows where you are coming from, you need more options to move.USAF-Marshall wrote:In the heat of battle, I doubt someone would see a car right next to them and a hole 10 yards away, then run to the hole. I agree, many mappers see to overlook the use even a small crate can have.Armand61685 wrote:If there are new urban maps in the making, there needs to be more cover in the streets and more enterable buildings. So as in fashion retro is in now, we will also turn back to the past and become master necromants?
