Simple explanation is that I may have found a way around having the bullets come out of the center of the screen, and instead come out of the gun.

From there its just simple animation of the gun. :)

How I got the bullets to come out of the gun is fairly simple, surprised no one got it before this, but its technical mumbo jumbo that only BF2 coders understand really. :razz:

Are you guys thinking of doing this for every single weapon ingame?

This is going to be so amazing if it works, the guns will be accurate, but with it in place we can expect firefights now.

Depends. The idea is that we should be able to use one generic sway animation for all the weapons (probably 2, one for irons, one for scopes), but mixing it up to add some randomness to the sway. If we are able to just mass apply a generic animation then ya, it won't be that hard to add the sway to all guns.

All I was saying is somehow convincing DICE to let the community modify the game a little more, of which I woulda thought they'd have the resources and authority to do (well the authority probably lies in EA's hands what with them been the publishers).

@AnRK, basically DICE isn't going to take the time to make more parts of the game exposed for modding, this late in the game. Really the only thing they could do to allow us to mod the game more would be to release source code. The problem with releasing the source code is they can't just release a small snippet, they have to release it all if its to be any user to modders. Releasing source code is something that DICE would never do. :(
