Armor in maps
to all the people who keep saying no armor ingame...... make a map without any armor......
until then tough luck, get an anti tank kit, or lay some mines down. there is no way to enforce no armor. all u are doing is alienating people from playing prmm by flaming them when they play for the first time and jump in a tank.
if the map was meant for no armor there wouldnt be any armor in the map.
i understand how annoying it is to be killed by armor, but until some one takes the tanks out of the maps, just play the game and fight the tanks back.

I'm not really sure why people complain about the tanks at all. Sure, in vanilla, they are a pain in the ***, because who can get off 3 clean shots on a tank without being spotted. In PR, the rockets do so much more damage that tankers have to actually have infantry support to be truly effective.
Granted I haven't played online PRMM yet, but even in singleplayer, the tanks last about 30s before they get pounded by anti-tank rockets. I'll be able to comment more if my server gets going this week, so feel free to disregard my thoughts here at the moment.

Yep... But it would be even better if you guys got around the player limitation. You could make 64 different variants of the same map. Karkand 24p could be an infantry map with the same size of the 32p version but no vehicles.'[R-DEV wrote:Evilhomer']Hmmm, I admit, having day2 and day3 style maps could be an easier way around the issue!
But as it is now the stupid BF2 server tool defaults to only 16, 32 and 64 (or 128 if one hax it). You can make a 24 version and even add it to the maplist, but when loading it'll launch 32 instead, grrrr!!!
