also can any one help me? I need help with remodelling the stock the back the regular ironsights, the ammo clip, and the trigger bar. Any one you wanna take a crack at it? I'm gonna try this next http://www.militaryfactory.com/smallarm ... rms_id=200
Take this from a fellow beginner.
Learn how to set up a reference picture, learn how to work with editable polys. that will most likely improve the models overall quality, and boost your creativity. I have posted on how to achive this before..
but keep it up, I know what it takes to get to the state you are on now. just getting used to a new program and how to go about modelling - which can be so damn frustrating in the beginning. Many people dont even have the patience and drive to power through that vital state.
so good job and keep it up.
It is hard. The hardest part is getting the shape, making sure both sides are the same, and making the curves. Can any of u tell me how to make the curves? Example would be an m16 clip or the curve on a vehicle.

model half of the gun and then use the symmetry modifier.
Hmmm it is very strange model, way toooooo high poly,it should have something around 180 not 900.Remeber smoothing, you don't need do barel or stuff like that 54 sized, 10 or 12 is enough! Also try to start with basic plane modeling, some easy rifles etc.
Try good ol' m1a1 1927 Tommy gun.It is easy model and you will sure learn some bacis to plane modeling!
Wish you the best luck...
