you gotta be kidding. Actually tracers are easier to see from sideways because they make nice "lines". Current 5.56 tracers can be seen from everywhere.

actualy if you enable tracers for a specific weapon in the game and set the interval to 24 you get your FIRST AND the TWENTYFIFTH round traced.
the engine starts recounting after every new mag (what is good, i had exspected other...)

but i don´t think this is a disadvantage, because you never know full or empty :-)

Not practical in a video game but, G.I.'s in WWII would just carry an extra empty clip. When engaged with the enemy they would throw it at somthing to simulate the noise of an empty clip being ejected from a garand..... Germans pop up and you still have five rounds in your clip..... German is dead same for japs. My granfather who was a 2nd ranger in WWII told me about that when I was 4 or 5.

As far as Tracers, just put tracers every five rounds or not at all.

ok theres a lot of talk about where the tracers should go, and how the enmey could judge when to charge? Why not let the individual choose, everyones different and then the enemy wouldn't know if it was your last 5 rounds, last 3, whatever!
