When I first saw shovel I was stunned that it cant be used as melee. Its a first thing that comes to mind... second is using it for digging.

PS: Make a voting tread one of u highly respected, almost worshiped, godlike DEF's and implement it in the game if the result gonna be yes

This has been discussed before in other threads about close quarters combat. I have wanted to see this since Desert Combat and it was one of the first things I suggested as a DEV, along with fixed bayonets, but making a variety of weapons or options for close quarters combat is more difficult than it sounds, especially without an animator.
If we had all the resources, I would love to see this in for 1.0, along with slash / stab alternate fire options for the fighting knives, but it won't happen for a while.

i suggested this with a wrench and got yelled at
